Apprenticeship 101
Seventh and eighth grade students and their families are invited to attend “Apprenticeship 101” at Tahoma High School on May 30 to learn more about careers in the trades. Students will start activities at 3 p.m. at THS in the Performing Arts Center. Middle school students can ride the bus to THS if needed. Parents are encouraged to join students at 5 p.m. for a free dinner in the Commons. After dinner, students will participate in hands-on activities while parents attend an information session to learn about the benefits of joining an apprenticeship program. Volunteering in the Tahoma School District
First I would like to thank you for your interest in volunteering in the Tahoma School District. As you know we have many events and always need help with volunteering. One of the main things is that you must be district cleared in order to volunteer in the school. If you have not been cleared, you will be required to complete an online application and upload a copy of your Driver’s License or government issued photo ID with date of birth. MVMS End-of-Year Celebrations- 6/7th grades: Vasa Park Picnic, 8th grade: Argosy Harbor Cruise
Information from the school about end of year Vasa Park and Argosy Cruise: We have remarkable students at Maple View Middle School and we are looking forward to celebrating the end of the school year with our students. At MVMS, we offer an end-of-the-year celebration for all grades. For 6th and 7th, we will go to VASA Park for a picnic. For 8th , we will go on a Harbor Cruise. Dates to Remember!!

May 15th, Tues -  SLUSHY DAY

They will be sold for $2, students can now use their ice cream accounts. please remember that your students ice cream account will diminish sooner since slushy is $2 and Ice cream is $1. Also, remind students they can only have one slushy and lunch accounts can not be used. Starting May 15th we will have bigger cups for the same price!

Training is required to work with the machine, so please let us know if you're interested in learning.
