First I would like to thank you for your interest in volunteering in the Tahoma School District. As you know we have many events and always need help with volunteering. One of the main things is that you must be district cleared in order to volunteer in the school. If you have not been cleared, you will be required to complete an online application and upload a copy of your Driver’s License or government issued photo ID with date of birth. TSD will run a background check with the Washington State Patrol and you will be notified by email when you have been approved. When you receive this confirmation email, you can begin volunteering. Your volunteer status will be valid for two school years and is district-wide. If you are not sure if you need to do this process and believe you are cleared you can contact the school to verify that information.
